Luca’s social media team have been working hard to impress Gemma’s mum Louise Owen.
His team have already followed Louise on social media and recently gushed over a photo of her and Gemma, commenting how “beautiful” the pair are.
“Luca knows to stand any chance with Gemma he will need to win over his mum – so his team are trying to give him a bit of a head start via social media,” a source told the MailOnline.
“So far Louise has liked what she’s seen about Luca. But she will wait to meet him before making her mind up.”

Louise – who has been married to former footballer Michael Owen for 17 years – has won a legion of fans since Gemma has been on the show as they spotted just how similar the duo look.
The mum-of-four has kept mostly quiet about Gemma’s stint on the show, while Gemma has barely spoken about her famous family.
On last Wednesday’s show Luca finally let slip he knew her dad was the famous footballer.
The fishmonger has often been accused of making a move on her only after figuring out she is the multi-millionaire footballer’s daughter.

Speaking during a date on Love Island, he let slip that he’s well aware of who he is.
Gemma also made reference to it as the pair were whisked off to a clifftop for their first ever date.
While exchanging compliments, she said Luca would see him “being a part of the family”.
She told him: “You have got similar humour to my dad to be fair.”
He replied: “If only I can kick a ball the same as him” which left her laughing briefly before she shot him an icy glare.
Luca then asked: “Do you think your mum will like me?”
She replied: “I hope to God. If she doesn’t then we’re screwed. If my mum don’t like you it’s a no.”
However, there is bad news for Luca is he was hoping to meet the former England and Liverpool ace in the villa.
The TV football pundit has ruled out appearing in the villa, saying his wife Louise will be doing the honours instead, should Gemma make it that far.
