FROM achieving the perfect pout, to creating the illusion of a slimmer nose, modern makeup techniques allow people to completely transform their faces.
If your goal is to look younger, makeup guru Nicole Burant has shown how you can use makeup to quite literally conceal your age.

I have four tips for you that if you do, will trick the eye into thinking you’re younger than you are,” Burant began in a TikTok video that’s been viewed over 296K times.
SHAPE AND DEFINE YOUR EYEBROWS
The first thing Burant said you need to tackle is your eyebrows.
“If you are blessed with very full dark brows, you don’t need to fill them, but you still want to shape them,” she stated.
“I love a brow wax for getting the shape you want. However, if you’re like me and you have a lot of sparseness, you want to also fill them, because it immediately gives you a more youthful frame to your face.”

CONCEALER PLACEMENT
You should place your concealer on the inner and outer corners of your eyes for a youthful appearance, according to Burant.
“You’re going to make sure to use your concealer brush to really dab that inner corner concealer right up into that part next to your eye and your eyeshadow you’ve put on.”
Burant explained that this is going to highlight that inner area and cover any darkness that you have.
She continued: “And then when you do your outer corner, make sure that you blend upwards. It’s going to create a lift and create an illusion of youth cause it’s going to draw the eye up.”

BLUSH PLACEMENT
When applying your blush, you shouldn’t go anywhere near the apples of your cheeks.
“That was for your 20s. Now in our 30s, 40s, and up, we’re taking our blush and we’re putting it towards the upper part of our cheekbone, and just angle it up as if you’re going towards the temple,” Burant advised.
She said this is going to create that illusion that your face is being pulled upward.
LUMINOUS SKIN
“When we’re younger, our skin has a natural luminosity to it, and we need to fake that,” the makeup fan said.

“So you’re going to take your highlighter and you’re going to apply it down the middle of your nose, right to the tip, a bit to the upper part of your cheekbone at the very top of it.
“A little bit to your cupid’s bow, and I also like to put just a little bit above my [eyebrow] arch as well.”
With all of this, you will create a more youthful, inner glow appearance to your skin, which makes you look significantly younger.
