England have hit an eye-watering 100 goals under Sarina Wiegman and are through to the last four for a fourth successive major tournament.
Another sell-out crowd is expected for Tuesday’s semi-final against Sweden at Bramall Lane.
Manchester City ace Walsh, who played 116 minutes of the 2-1 extra-time win over Spain, said: “The feeling in this squad is just confidence.
“There’s been talk about us not really having any difficult games in the group. But we’ve come from behind and shown we’re a real force to be reckoned with.

“In any quarter-final it’s an achievement to come from behind. But the feeling was always there that we were going to win.
“That belief and the crowd was massive for us and it’s definitely been a massive part of this whole tournament, having the home crowd behind us.
“We’ve got a really good momentum with us and I hope we can carry that on to the semi-final. It’s just confidence and we’re in a really good place.”
Walsh has hailed the calming impact of Wiegman, who took over in September last year, for helping the Lionesses keep their cool.

They have only conceded one goal this tournament having got through the group unscathed.
But at the France World Cup in 2019 under Phil Neville, the side crumbled at the semi-final stage against the USA.
Yet Walsh said of their Dutch manager: “She’s so relaxed.
“She doesn’t put pressure on anyone. When you make a mistake in training or in a game, she’s not barking at you on the side.
“As long as you’re trying to do the right thing and it’s what she’s asked of you, then she is never going to shout at you.
We’ve got a really good momentum with us and I hope we can carry that on to the semi-final.

“That’s really important because it gives you the confidence to try things. And some of the goals we probably would not have scored in the past.
“Sarina’s presence, she’s so calm, really positive and even at half- time she won’t come in and start screaming. She always says the right thing in the right moment.
“Sarina has been massively important for us and so have the backroom staff as well as the technical staff. We’re just in a really good place.
“Even the way she is on the sideline, Sarina is always so calm and that influences the team massively.
“If you’ve got a coach who shouts when you’re running up and down the touchline it does affect you.”
England’s winner against the Spaniards was a long-range belter from Georgia Stanway.

And Walsh added: “Someone like Georgia has always been confident to shoot and she’s got an unbelievable strike on her and Sarina brings that out.
“She wants people to play with confidence, have shots and play passes. In the team talk, it’s always on what we can do, the confidence she has with us — that’s massive.”
