Wood Green ‘shooting’ – Man dies after being shot near busy London Underground station
A MAN has died after being shot near a busy London Underground station on Sunday night.
The unidentified victim sustained fatal injuries near Wood Green Underground Station in the borough of Haringey.
The London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at around 9.30pm, after residents reported hearing shots fired.
An ambulance crew, advanced paramedic, a medic in a fast response vehicle and the tactical response unit raced to the scene.

An air ambulance was also deployed in a bid to reach the man as quickly as possible.
But despite their efforts, he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sun has contacted the Metropolitan Police for comment in regards to the shooting.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 9.28pm tonight to reports of a shooting near Wood Green Underground Station, N22.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, a medic in a fast response car and members of our tactical response unit.

“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“Sadly, despite best efforts, a man died at the scene.”
