LOVE Island fans have slammed ‘bitter’ Gemma Owen as her ‘feud’ with Ekin-Su escalates.
The two girls are villa BFFs, but in recent days, some watching have become convinced that Gemma, 19, doesn’t actually like Ekin-Su, 27.
Tonight’s episode fanned those flames after viewer clocked Gemma’s reaction to the news Ekin-Su and her partner Davide had become exclusive.
Davide had made a tiramisu for his partner and asked her to be exclusive, which she accepted.
But as she returned to her other islanders, she commented to Gemma’s partner Luca that they were a couple even if it hadn’t been said aloud.
Gemma was seen turning away before then sitting down on the sofa with Luca, where he joked that it was nice to know where he stood now Ekin-Su had labelled their relationship.

Gemma told her partner to “stop being bitter”, and added: “to be fair though, we didn’t do something like that for people to know we’re excl, and I’d prefer it to be this way.”
But Love Island viewers took to Twitter, with one commenting: “Wow Luca and Gemma are so bitter wtf.”
Another added: “Luca and Gemma are so so fake. Ekin has nothing but nice stuff to say about them but they’re always so bitter. Wave bye bye to the 50k.”
A third tweeted: “Ofc Gemma is bitter, Ekin is basically living an italian bridgerton rn and she got Joe from You trailing her every move.”
