I’m a home expert, my genius hack to get more to fit on the washing line – you already have everything you need
IF you’re always wishing that you had more space on your washing line so that everything could fit, a home expert has the answer.
A TikTok user called Caprice’s Mum, whose profile is @capricesmum, regularly shares helpful home hacks and tips – and one of her latest is being hailed as “brilliant.”
The busy mum, who has amassed over 121,000 followers on the social media platform, revealed she’s thought up the genius idea after realising she had too many clothing items to dry at the same time.
In a video showing what she does each time, Caprice’s Mum said: “Does anyone else do this when they run out of space on the washing line?”
She then showed how she unloads the items from the washing machine, before going into her wardrobe to find lots of hangers.
Then she uses the hangers to create more space in two easy steps.

She continued: “So I place all the items on hangers and I place pegs in between to stop the hangers from sliding.
“As you can see, it frees up so much space on the washing line to allow for more clothes to dry.”
Caprice’s Mum’s followers were quick to comment on the trick – saying they thought it was genius.
One wrote: “Great idea! Drives me mad when I run out of space.”
