Watch as van driver gets a parking ticket for being on his OWN driveway – the locals are all saying the same thing
A SHOCKING video shows a parking warden handing out parking tickets to people parked on their own driveways.
The video, uploaded to Instagram by user @bigwhipss and shown on the Inside Motors channel shows angry locals challenging the warden over the tickets.
The video starts showing a red DIY service van parked off the street in a driveway.
Clearly the van could be owned by the person living at the address or the driver could be carrying out work on the house inside.
Either way, the van is parked off the public highway and has been given a bright yellow ticket, slapped on its windscreen.
As the camera pans around, you can see that a ticket has also been given to the Ford Focus parked in a driveway next door.

The video also then shows the parking warden, who is sitting on his moped getting an earful from the locals.
All are clearly very unhappy at the tickets being awarded and are working together to let him know how they feel.

One older man with a crutch in his dressing gown is particularly unhappy at the situation.
He’s pointing out that the driveways don’t belong to the council – they are actually private and therefore fine to be parked on.

Meanwhile the parking warden just looks on saying nothing – he even looks towards the camera and smirks.
People were on the locals’ side in the comments too.

While @marpowboss said: “I had this when crossing a white line reversing into a loading bay at back of Shaftesbury avenue the letter always says you can dispute but will cost £1000 instead if you loose.
“I hate the government.”
