My sister was running low on milk, so I breastfed the baby for her… some say it’s weird, but I don’t care
A WOMAN has gone viral after sharing a video of herself breastfeeding her sister’s baby.
Being a mum is no easy task – and sometimes you might need an extra pair of hands to help you…. or in this case, an extra pair of boobs.
Lisa McAloon, from the US, is a mum-of-three who recently gave birth to her latest child, baby boy Callum.
The mum, who works as a teacher, is very open about her journey as a parent and regularly takes it to social media to share heartwarming snaps of her tots and family life.
Although her posts are loved by many, one such clip in particular has gone viral, leaving Instagram users divided.
Here, the mum-of-three revealed she was running low on milk – but luckily for her, and for Callum, who is just three-months-old, help was on the way.

Not willing to have her young nephew go hungry, Lisa’s sister, Janelle McAloon, decided to step in and take over – quite literally.
Hearing that her sister was running low on the precious food, Janelle did not hesitate and grabbed baby Callum before removing her top and breastfeeding him.
”When your sister has low milk supply but you are a human cow,” Janelle, who herself is a mother to four children, wrote alongside the clip.
She continued in the caption: ”Anything for my nephew.”

One person said: ”Okay i love your personality and you have a cute family but idk [I don’t know] about this [sic].”
Someone else thought: ”i think the weird part is she’s physically breast feeding her niece or nephew, why can’t sister just pump the milk and hand it over to mom?”
A third penned: ”Not everything needs to be shared on the internet ??”
However, it wasn’t all negative, as plenty of mums jumped in to show their support.
”My sister helped me out when I couldn’t get quite enough milk for my twins! Love this!” a parent said.

A fellow mum agreed, saying: ”I have always thought this was completely normal and then when I had a baby my supply was low so my sister gave me some of her stores of milk and my friends were APPALLED.
”I couldn’t believe I got judged for it.”
