Casualty star George Rainsford has dropped ANOTHER big hint that he is exiting the soap as Ethan Hardy.

The actor, 40, fuels leaving rumours further by posting a bobblehead figurine of his character on his Instagram page.

He wrote: “Immortalised in toy form! What a keepsake. Thank you @ironmintstudio and Casualty. Very pleased they got my head-to-body size ratio spot on! #bobblehead #EthanHardy”.

Fans rushed to comment their fears that Ethan will be leaving the BBC medical drama.

One said: “I hope you’re not leaving, we need Ethan”.

Another wrote: “Nooooo that means you’re LEAVING.”

A third penned: “Is this goodbye???”

George panicked fans last week as he reminisced about an old emotional episode in another social media post.

The script shows the scene where Ethan found out his brother Cal (Richard Winsor) had died.

He captioned the pic: “Just clearing out my dressing room drawer and look what scene I found!”

George has given us previous clues that suggest an exit for the character.

Last month, George tweeted “Just finished reading a very consequential episode for Ethan.”

He also praised director Duncan Foster: “Lovely last [episode] of Casualty. Some gorgeous shots (relatives room through the window, post crash birds-eye view etc!)”

Duncan replied: “Glad they’ve got you back, I won’t be around then! Until next time!”

Could this be the end for the beloved Ethan?

Casualty airs on Saturdays on BBC One.
