I see red every time my girlfriend mentions her ex
DEAR DEIDRE: EVERY time my girlfriend mentions her ex, I see red and we end up having a row.
My jealousy is ruining our relationship.
I’m 19 and my girlfriend is 18.
She was with a guy for two years before we got together.
She told me she loved him but he hurt her, and she is much happier with me.
I know he’s in the past, but if he comes up in conversation with her friends, I feel irrationally jealous.
