I’m 22 & my partner is 35 years older than me, people say we aren’t allowed to kiss but we don’t care
AGE gap relationships often cause conversation.
Whether it’s negative or positive, people are often quick to comment on people’s relationship if there is a large number in age.
However, for one couple it doesn’t bother them.
Despite the constant comments they get from trolls, and one of his daughters wanting to “murder” her, Brightnye Quayle, 22, and 57-year-old James insist they’re deeply in love.
The couple first met 14 months ago, when Brightnye piqued James’ interest as she ordered nine sandwiches at the bar of the casino they both ended up at.
Since then, their relationship has gone from strength to strength and Brightnye – originally from New Zealand – now lives with her divorced beau.

They’ve been documenting their “unlikely love” on their Age Gap 50 TikTok page.
In one video, which has been viewed over 85k times, Brightnye films herself kissing James before she says: “No PDA”.

PDA means Public display of affection.
James then adds: “No PDA, actually we are not allowed to kiss. We were told off.”
Brightnye then asks James if she could start an Only Fans account, to which he replied: “What is an Only Fans?”
She explains it’s where you get paid for posting “bikini pics and lingerie.”
He then replies to her saying: “I’m OK about it, your body, your choice. Yeah. Good, earn some cash.”
Many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts about the couple.
One wrote: “I didn’t expect him to be supportive.”
Another added: “This makes me feel terribly queasy.”
And a third said: “He’s a polite one. We love to see it.”
In another video, Brightnye responded to one query which asked what James’ daughters think of her.
Turning the question over to James, he then said: “Two of them are okay, one’s sitting on the fence and the other one would like to murder you with a pitchfork, which isn’t very nice.
“You don’t deserve to be murdered with a pitchfork, babe.

“But look, people are entitled to their opinions.
“We don’t mind – we’re in love.”
Another misconception the pair frequently face is that Brightnye is after James’ money.
But he shot that down in another video on the social media site, insisting: “The comments are interesting. A lot of them are about money, it’s ridiculous.
“I was married to my wife for 30 years, bought her a Maserati, paid for everything… What is the difference?

“Every relationship, well certainly traditional relationships where the man looks after the woman, of course you’re going to spend money, it’s not an issue.
“And not relevant.”
