United were reportedly willing to offer Trapp £180,000 a week but it has not been enough to convince the shot-stopper to make the switch.

He said in a statement on Instagram: “Dear fans, There have been a lot of reports of interest in Manchester United in the past few days.

Trapp follows Frenkie de Jong, Jurrien Timber and Darwin Nunez as players to have rejected United this summer.
The club could now focus their attention on Newcastle keeper Martin Dubravka having entered negotiations with Toon to sign the Slovakia international.
Newcastle would likely want a hefty fee for their No2 as selling him in the coming days would leave them with little time to find a replacement.
Toon boss Eddie Howe was left stunned by United’s reported interest in Dubravka and claimed he “didn’t know” anything of it.
But he’s refused to rule out the possibility of the Slovak leaving St James’ Park before the transfer window closes next month.
