Chalobah ‘wanted by Tottenham, Roma and Inter Milan with defender considering transfer’ as Chelsea pursue Fofana move
TOTTENHAM are reportedly set to battle Roma and Inter Milan to sign defender Trevoh Chalobah – as Chelsea chase Leicester City ace Wesley Fofana.
Chalobah muscled his way into Thomas Tuchel’s side last season – making 20 Premier League appearances.
But he’s yet to make an appearance for the Blues in the Prem in this campaign.
Although the 23-year-old started for the Blues’ development side in their recent Premier League 2 defeat to Fulham.
The defender’s first-team chances are looking slim after the Blues recruited Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella to hold the fort this summer.
It will be even more difficult for Chalobah to get a look in if the Blues manage to sign top transfer priority Wesley Fofana from Leicester.

However, SunSport exclusively revealed that the West London outfit have pulled the plug on their pursuit of Fofana – after the Foxes rejected a third bid worth £70million including add-ons.
But they are being linked with alternative options, including Manchester United captain Harry Maguire.
The Evening Standard claim Chalobah’s fears about his Chelsea future has led him to consider a loan or permanent move away from Stamford Bridge.
And the report states that Spurs are mulling a swoop for the England U21 star.

However, the White Hart Lane outfit will have to fend off competition from Italian clubs Roma and Inter Milan – who are also eyeing Chalobah, it was added.
Chalobah could be tempted to join fellow ex-Blue Tammy Abraham at Roma after witnessing the striker’s stunning first season in Italy.
Abraham became the highest-scoring Englishman in a Serie A campaign, and also lifted the Europa Conference League under ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
