IAN BEALE’S departure shocked many, after being a key character on EastEnders since the show’s inception.
Fans were utterly bereft when one of EastEnders‘ most iconic and the longest serving character, Ian Beale, left the show.
Actor Adam Woodyatt dedicated almost three decades of his career to Walford, but last year bowed out to pursue the theatre production of Looking Good Dead.
Now, it has been confirmed that Adam, 54, will now be starring in the Lincoln Centre Theatre’s production of My Fair Lady.
Adam made the exciting announcement via Instagram on Wednesday 24 August, gushing how “thrilled” he is to be performing as Alfred P Doolittle.
The troupe will tour the UK, and will even hit the West End, so you can catch your favourite Ender’s star live, on stage!
Fans poured praise into Adam’s comment section on his Instagram announcement post, saying they “can’t wait” to see him perform.
One wrote: “Congratulations! I can’t wait to see it!”
