I left my son with his grandparents to take a quick shower and they cut his hair – I was so traumatised
LOTS of parents turn to their own parents for babysitting duties.
But when Sidrah Riaz left her son with her mum and dad while she grabbed a shower, she didn’t expect to come back to find him looking entirely different.
Sidrah took to TikTok to share a video which showed her son as he looked when she dropped him off with his grandparents.
“I left him with his grandparents to take a shower,” she wrote over the top of the clip.
The beginning showed her little boy with a thick mop of black hair – which fell in curls slightly over his eyes.
“I came back to this!” she added, showing the tot with an uneven messy fringe where her parents had decided to give his hair a trim.

After seeing the job they’d done, Sidrah took her little boy to a local hairdressers to get his locks tidied up.
“Has anyone else been traumatised like this? I cried,” she wrote in the caption.
People in the comments section were quick to vent their anger on Sidrah’s behalf, with one writing: “no way omg NOO it was so nice beforeee.”
“I hate it when grandparents overstep their boundaries!” another added.
