Watch as Mercedes driver shows off to the crowd at a car meet – what happens next leaves the driver red-faced
THIS is the moment a Mercedes driver trying to impress a crowd at a car meet ends up rather red-faced.
In the video, the driver of the black Mercedes-Benz C63S AMG can be seen racing off in an attempt to catch the eye of onlookers.
The footage then cuts to the car turning right with the driver then doing some screeching wheel spins.
But the driver loses control and as the car spins round it hits a grassed central reservation and goes crashing into one of the trees.
Not long afterwards the cops turn up and the footage reveals the extent of the damage all along the rear side of the car with the rear passenger door badly crumpled.
A group of people can be seen standing around and watching as a tow-truck arrives to cart away the damaged car.

It’s unclear from the video if the driver of the car sustained any injuries although from the short clip he appeared to be okay.
The footage has been uploaded to YouTube where it has racked up more than 16million views and over 10,000 comments.
Most commentators had little sympathy for the driver.
One wrote on the social media site: “The ‘I’m trying to play it off super embarrassing but I’ll try to act cool look’ is priceless. Every time… “

While a third said: “LOL! I love the way he removed his license plates like it will keep his insurance company from finding out he did something stupid! There’s always idiots at every car meet that will ride home in a tow truck.”
Many also expressed concern about the tree, typified by one commentator saying: “Poor tree, I feel really bad that it got hit like that.”
Earlier this month, a BMW driver came a cropper while showing off at a car meet.
The footage shows a white Abarth 500 with two people onboard at the front of the queue.
The Fiat revs its engine and starts to move off, but for some reason comes to a stop soon afterwards.
A black BMW 6 Series behind it lines up to start and revs its engine, then begins to move off itself.

However, it quickly becomes clear that the driver either hasn’t seen that the white Abarth has stopped or has misjudged the Beemer’s power.
The BMW driver tries to stop but is travelling too fast and smashes into the back of the Abarth with a sickening crunch.
