THERE ARE so many choices of toys nowadays it’s hard to know what ones are really worth picking up for your children.
Luckily, one mum of six, who clearly has experience in toy buying has revealed the five toys she would buy kids this Christmas.
Posting to her TikTok account, sharon.a.life, the mum of six, from the US, shared her top five buys.
She said: “Here are five items that are totally worth having on your kids’ Christmas lists this year.”
First up Sharon recommended a cash register and revealed her children are constantly playing with it.
Plus, most of them have a real calculator now which can be beneficial to their mathematic skills.

Stepping stones were the next item the mum of six recommended, she added that the ones she had came in a pack of 12 at all different heights.
She added: “You can use them for floor is lava, for obstacle courses, winter summer, we use them all the time.”

The mum then recommended the ‘greatest new toy that no one has heard of’ – cardboard tools, and they will make your life so much easier.
The set comes with a tool where you can punch a hole into the cardboard and a screw to screw cardboard together.

Sharon said: “We make the most amazing forts with these things, huge.
“And it’ll last for days and days.”
The mum also suggested picking up a Magnatile for each kid, especially the cars.
“My three-year-old plays with them and my 12-year-old plays with them,” she revealed.
The final item Sharon recommended were small mattresses – and she revealed all of her kids loved it as well as herself.
Sharon added: “I can’t afford gymnasium mats but I can afford these.
“Use them for forts, gymnastics, sleepovers – all the things!”
