I’m plus-size & recreated Bella Hadid’s denim outfit – it only looks good on her because she’s small
A PLUS-SIZE fashionista has taken to social media to recreate an iconic Bella Hadid look.
Content creator Holly Marston’s goal was to see if the ensemble was only considered stylish due to Hadid’s thin frame.
“Is it a fit or is she just skinny? Bella Hadid addition,” Marston began in a TikTok video.
The supermodel’s outfit which Marston was trying to replicate featured a bunch of denim, including the top, jeans, and jacket.
A brown shoulder bag that appears to be from a high-end brand, as well as brown combat boots with yellow laces completed Hadid’s trendy look.
Marston set out to recreate the number.

“So I started with these embarrassingly creased jeans from Fashion Nova,” she said.
She threw on the jeans which were a darker wash than Hadid’s, as well as a different style – hers flaring a bit at the bottom while Hadid’s were straight cut.
Marston then put on a jean corset and an oversized denim shirt from Misguided.
To tie everything together, she added a vintage brown bag and some chunky black heels since she didn’t have brown boots that mirrored Hadid’s.

“So what do you think, is it a fit or is she just skinny?” Marston asked viewers.
Some people in the comments section of the video suggested that the outfit looked so good on Hadid solely because she wore it.
“It’s always a fit when it’s Bella Hadid,” one said.
“It’s a fit, just not on everyone, just like every other fit,” another added.

A couple of commenters felt like the look would be amazing on Marston though, if only she used denim pieces that matched.
One person wrote: “I think it would definitely be a fit had the denim matched! I think it kind of is now too, but having a hard time with the mismatch.”
