‘Idiot’ driver leaves his car in a very inconvenient spot at Tesco – and everyone’s saying the same thing
A DRIVER has faced heavy backlash over their useless parking at a Tesco supermarket.
The “idiot” motorist’s car was snapped parked over the curb of a zebra crossing after they apparently mistook it for a parking bay at the Coventry store.

A local resident posted the image to Facebook, captioned with a rant about the stupidity of the parking.
The furious local wrote: “Just another idiot in Tesco this evening. The guy just missed the correct parking space.”
The post prompted a severe response from commenters, who were quick to lash out at the dopey driver.
One wrote: “Yet another joke driver, they have absolutely no clue what is around them or with them.”

Responding to some of the comments sympathetic to the driver and saying it was an honest mistake, the same commenter said: “Don’t hold with having a bad day – they are in charge of a ton of metal.”
Someone who had been at the shop that day also chimed in, saying; “Had to walk round with a pushchair. Glad there wasn’t another car to the right.”
Another critic said: “And people wonder why accidents happen. Needs to go to Specsavers.”
However, some did defend the driver and made the point that, while obviously a zebra crossing in the photo, the road markings do make it look like a parking spot.
One of the friendlier comments said: “Could just be someone who’s had a long day, got a lot going on, and in a bit of a world of their own, don’t be so harsh, that’s all I’ll say.”

Another agreed, writing: “Not going to lie I did see this space this afternoon and it does look like a parking space.”
Tesco were less understanding, however, with a spokesperson saying: “We’d like to thank all our customers who park responsibly and are disappointed to see this inconsiderate parking outside of the designated spaces, which we would not expect to happen again.”
