I tried loads of Aldi make-up dupes – a Nars wannabe was the best but some of the others were decent too
ALTHOUGH we would all like to splurge out on high-end make-up every once in a while, you don’t always have to spend a fortune to look good.
Like many supermarkets, the bargain store, Aldi, has also introduced its own skincare and make-up range, which often sees affordable dupes of luxury products.
Full of must-have staples for bargain lovers, the shop has become favourite for many – and the beauty lover, Elyse Jannati, is no exception.
The stunning brunette took to TikTok to show off her latest shopping haul – and it’s safe to say the visit to the store was a success.
Ready with a NARS foundation to start the look, Elyse then set off to put the make-up goodies to test, beginning with Aldi Radiant Concealer.
Unlike it’s high-end sister, Radiant Creamy Concealer by NARS, the budget version retails for less than £4 and has seen countless of positive five-star reviews.

After buffing it in for a seamless finish, the beauty lover grabbed a darker shade and used it as a contour stick to add definition to her face.
The product, which she reckoned is just like the iconic Tarte Tape Shape Concealer (£27), can be bagged for just fraction of the price.
Whilst browsing in the store, the make-up enthusiast also stumbled across Aldi blusher – a wannabe for the popular NARS blush, which costs more than £27 – and applied the coral pink powder on her cheeks.
To complete the base, Elyse then went on with a bit of Aldi Translucent Powder (£3.99) – this, she believed, was very similar to setting powder by Laura Mercier.

Last up in the video the young woman decided to see if their Too Legit mascara was any good – and not only is it just £5.99, but the eye make-up product is also a dupe for the iconic Better Than Sex mascara by Benefit.
Sharing her thoughts, Elyse wrote in the caption: ”Best item is the Nars Radiant concealor dupe but they’re all nice to wear mid week and save my expensive makeup for weekends and occasions [sic].”

It’s not the first time Aldi fans have gone crazy over their inexpensive ‘inspired-by’ products – recently, one beauty lover urged fellow fanatics to rush to the store to get their hands on Jo Malone perfume dupes.
When showing off her new Aldi perfume, Amelia Olivia said: “I’m not going to gatekeep this perfume but I am about to go and bulk buy it from Aldi.
“It’s an Aldi dupe of a Jo Malone scent. It smells exactly the same. Exactly the same.
“I sprayed it all over me before I went to the football last night and when I came home I still smelled of it.
“It’s the Hotel Collection Number 11 Peony Blush and it’s a dupe for the Jo Malone Peony and Blush.
“It actually smells insane, I can not believe”.
While the Jo Malone Peony and Blush scent retails at £110.00 for 100ml or £55 for 30ml, the Aldi Peony Blush scent is just £6.99 for a 100ml bottle.
