How do I leave my boyfriend to move in with my lover?
DEAR DEIDRE: IT’S crunch time. The man I really love has asked me to move in with him and I have no idea how to tell my partner that I don’t want to be with him any more.
I’m 51 and my boyfriend is 53. I left my hometown to be with him but the person that has my heart lives back home.
He was with someone else at the time, but we stayed in touch over the years and then became intimate three years ago.
He wants us to live together and I have agreed. He is 54.
I’ve always wanted to be with him, but I don’t know how to explain to my partner what I have planned without hurting his feelings.
