Jordan’s crashed car in Hollywood

According to the outlet, Jordan was in the driver’s seat of his BMW cruising through Hollywood when he apparently suffered a medical episode and slammed into the side of a building.

A star on the television set, Jordan found a new venture during the Covid-19 pandemic, becoming a TikTok sensation with his comedic videos.

His Instagram fanbase skyrocketed from less than 100,000 followers to over five million.

He previously told TMZ Live that his secret was being himself, a “silly, funny, goofy, happy-go-lucky senior citizen”.

Will & Grace star who went viral on TikTok 'dies at 67'

Throughout his lavish career, Jordan made appearances on several hit big-hit TV shows, including Will & Grace, Reba, Star Trek: Voyager, American Horror Story, and Hearts Afire, among others.

Fans and fellow actors voiced their condolences for the beloved actor online after hearing the devastating news.

“I am stunned at the death of Leslie Jordan, who delighted us with his many roles on television and film,” said actor George Takei.

“Leslie, we are heartbroken at your loss and will miss your mirth and your inimitable spirit.”

The show RuPaul’s Drag Race also remembered the late actor after he guest starred on the program.

“Rest in peace, Leslie Jordan,” the show announced on Twitter alongside a sweet picture of Jordan smiling with RuPaul.

“Thank you for the countless laughs and for sharing your spirit with us all.”

A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jordan spoke about being raised in the Southern Baptist Church.

Alongside his career as an actor, he also worked as a comedian, playwright, and voice actor.

Jordan released a gospel music album titled Company’s Comin in 2021.

He also appeared on the show The Masked Singer later that year as a guest panelist, where he sang the iconic gospel song This Little Light of Mine.

An LGBTQ+ trailblazer, Jordan received GALACA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics’ Timeless Star award in 2021.

“The world is definitely a much darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan,” said Jordan’s agent David Shaul.

“Not only was he a mega talent and joy to work with, but he provided an emotional sanctuary to the nation at one of its most difficult times.
