I broke down in tears after being locked in a coffin reveals Pointless star Alexander Armstrong
POINTLESS presenter Alexander Armstrong has opened up about his harrowing experience being locked in a coffin.
The 52-year-old TV star spoke to Radio Times about his visit to South Korea.
Alexander flew out as part of his new three-part Channel 5 travelogue series, following the success of his trip to Iceland.
During his time in South Korea, he attended a Death Experience School, and has recalled the terrifying time.
He told the publication: “Suddenly we arrived in a graveyard, and some of the coffins were open, and he pointed at one and said, ‘This is yours.’
“He handed me a shroud and said, ‘You need to put this on,’ and I had to climb into the coffin and they hammered in nails.”
