Man accused of attacking Nancy Pelosi’s husband ‘carried cable ties when breaking into their home’
A MAN accused of attacking US politician Nancy Pelosi’s husband was yesterday said to be carrying cable ties when he broke into their home.
A person briefed on the police probe made the anonymous claim.
Paul Pelosi, 82, is recovering from a fractured skull after being struck with a hammer.
An intruder burst in and reportedly demanded to know “Where is Nancy?” — before struggling with Mr Pelosi.
House Speaker and Democratic leader Nancy was in Washington when the attack happened at home in San Francisco.
“Our children, our grandchildren and I are heartbroken and traumatized by the life-threatening attack on our Pop”, she said in a letter late Saturday to colleagues.
