Kirsten begins the video by stating that the focus of the content would be “fun facts about Hooters” before she goes into greater detail about the tuition reimbursement option that the company offers.
“So, if you’re in any sort of school, they offer up to $1,000 a semester just reimbursement to be used on books, tuition, really just about anything,” she says.
The former employee adds that the more hours you work and the better grades you receive, you can receive more money.
She proceeds to show viewers the actual points-based system that Hooters uses when calculating how much to reimburse.

The points are then multiplied by how many hours worked that semester, which Kirsten declares that she thinks is “really cool.”
“Hooters is trying to show that they care about education, and that’s like up to $1,000 free dollars, just for going to school,” she states.
She closes out the video by gushing about much she loves the program and her time working for the food company.
The caption of the video also explains that she received more money in college than she does now, but is still grateful for the opportunity.
Many viewers shared their appreciation for the tip and their own personal experiences with the tuition reimbursement program in the comments.
“My aunt paid for vet school while she worked at hooters,” one user shared online.
