Emmerdale fans all saying the same thing as Cain and Al’s fight ends in a horror shooting

EMMERDALE fans are all saying the same thing after the 50th anniversary month ended with a horror shooting.

The ITV soap’s big month-long celebration came to a head tonight as Cain Dingle attacked Al Chapman with a loaded shotgun.

Cain had earlier discovered Al was having an affair with his sister Chas – and was determined to put a stop to it.

After sending Paddy away with the idea he needed to take Chas away for a few days, Cain decided to take action.

He called the number on the phone and was horrified when he heard Al pick up.

Texting Al, he lured him to an abandoned farm building to take his revenge.

Al had no idea what was going on, and turned up thinking he was in for a romp with Chas.

“I see you’re in that kind of mood,” he said as he heard Chas’ secret phone ring out in the barn.

“One for the road, why not?” he added as he walked in.

But instead of finding Chas, he came face to face with Cain holding a shot gun.

“It’s just us, in case you thought this was some kind of surprise going away party,” Cain said.

Al hit back, insisting that Chas loved him and Cain couldn’t break them up.

Cain demanded to know the details and when Al told him, he flew into a rage.

Putting the gun down, he goaded Al into a fight and the two men finally fought after months of dancing around it.

But as they tore chunks out of each other, each tried to grab the gun – before a shot was fired.

Fans are convinced Cain has finally become a killer and murdered Al.

One wrote: “It’s all over for Al. #Emmerdale”

A second said: “Well then they better not kill off Cain, that’s all I’m saying. #Emmerdale”

Another added: “Goodbye Al, it’s about time someone gets rid of him. #Emmerdale”
