Inside rugby ace Joe Marler’s incredible home with bear statue in the garden as he transforms for Queens for the Night
ENGLAND rugby union prop Joe Marler has a fun family home with a life-size bear in its sprawling garden.
The sportsman, 32, who is one of six stars undergoing a dramatic transformation for ITV’s Queens for a Night, has decorated the country pad with a host of quirky features.
Telly fans will soon see a totally different side to Joe when he puts on a drag performance alongside five other celebs, but he’s no stranger to a bit of dress up in his own home.
The fun-loving athlete had his Instagram followers in stitches when he recorded a Titanic skit in his living room in which he played both lead characters: Jack and Rose.
His turn as Kate Winslet’s character could possibly give some insight into what to expect from his new drag persona, who he created in tandem with pro drag artist Blu Hydrangea.
Joe once gave fans a tour of his home for an England Rugby edition of Cribs.

During it he joked the enormous bear in his garden was the taxidermied animal that attacked Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in the film The Revenant.
The man mountain can maintain his huge frame in his garage which is packed with professional grade equipment.
In the main house there is rugby memorabilia on the walls and in the country kitchen a poster readers “this kitchen is for dancing’.
The slogan could be an indication that Joe is lighter on his feet than some might think when it comes to his performance on Queens for a Night.

Speaking ahead of the show, he said: “I want to try something different, get out of my comfort zone and why not try drag. It’s great fun.
“I think there’s lots of different qualities you need to be successful in drag. Strong calves are probably up there, but the main one is the ability to free yourself up, let yourself go and just go with the character as much as you can. You can’t panic too much about what people are going to think.”
Drag star Blu Hydrangea said: “I’m so excited to be a part of this show, to give a celebrity a chance to take a look through my eyes at the world of drag, it’s just incredible. I hope they find as much love for it as I have. I hope that they are ready to get whipped into shape!”
Coronation Street favourite Simon Gregson, Love Island’s Chris Hughes, fitness instructor Mr Motivator, pop star George Shelley and Ian Beale actor Ian Woodyatt are all taking part.
