Money has been very tight for Sue Devaney‘s on-screen alter-ego.

But after staging a robbery in her own restaurant, Debbie believed it was time to find a long-lasting solution to solve all her financial worries.

Debbie decided to part with her hotels but her sacrifices won’t stop there.

Coming up on ITV, Debbie tells Ronnie Bailey (portrayed by Vinta Morgan) that she’s only had two offers on her hotels.

This prompts her to come to terms with the thought of selling her share of the Bistro.

Debbie later tells her business partner Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) that she’s made up her mind and will sell her share.

She gives him a week to make her an offer.

Unbeknownst to her, however, Nick and Leanne Battersby’s (Jane Danson) own finances aren’t looking as good as she perhaps imagined.

When examining their situation, the pair realise they can only make Debbie a low offer for her half of the restaurant and they doubt she’ll even accept it.

In later scenes, Debbie admits to Ronnie that she may have to out of desperation.

Nick and Leanne’s poxy offer is the only one standing between her and filing for bankruptcy.

Seeing how lost she is, Ronnie offers to make a call on her behalf and Debbie’s intrigued.

What solution has he found?
