I’m a teacher and I’m trolled for how I dress – people say my work outfits are totally inappropriate but I don’t care
PARENTS expect their kids teachers to wear professional clothing in a school setting, but one woman is dividing the internet with her outfits.
Graceann is an art teacher, she has a teacher TikTok account with over 39,000 followers.
At 25 years old she is commonly mistaken for a student herself when in school.
Garceann is being trolled for the prairie style dresses she wears when teaching.
In a video she said she wrote: “Measuring my dress so that TikTok trolls leave me alone”.
Replying to the comment “If you want to be treated as a professional you should dress professional. Agree dress too short. You aren’t a student anymore”.

In another video Graceanne said: “I think it is so comical when parents come onto teachers TikToks and get mad about their outfit. My dress as fingertip length in that video and my principal told me I looked cute that day”.
She said: “I just don’t really get why you care so much”.
Viewers have mixed reviews about the teacher’s dress length.
One commenter said “If it LOOKS too short, it matters in any professional environment, fair or unfair”.

Graceanne took to TikTok again in another video to prove that her dress was fingertip length.
Some viewers have had enough of the trolls comments and send messages of support to Graceanne.
One viewer said: “There’s something very weird ab[out] the amount of mothers who sexualize teachers’ outfits for no reason”.
Another said: “Wear the dress- you look great! I’m genuinely curious how many would have these comments if the teacher wasn’t a curvy girl? (as a curvy girl myself!)”.

But Graceanne is having fun with the trolls comments in another video she said: “Imagine hating me for wearing a dress”.
Graceanne insists that her principal has approved of her outfits and she will continue wearing them when teaching.
