Mother-of-the-groom slammed as tacky for her totally inappropriate outfit at son’s church wedding

But sometimes guests try to outshine the bride with their dress choices – but you probably expect that from your own mother-in-law.
When one couple tied the knot their wedding snaps ended up on a Reddit forum where users slammed one member of the wedding party for her ‘sexy’ outfit.
The woman, who’s believed to be the groom’s mum, decided to wear a very revealing dress to her son’s big day.
The little black dress has a plunging V-neck, mini skirt with a dramatic longer overskirt.
The Reddit user said that the dress was worn to the church wedding, leaving people with mixed feelings about the attire.

The mother-of-the-groom was slammed for her dress, with users saying she looked like she was going to a ‘sexy funeral’ rather than a church wedding.
One person jabbed: “It’s the low low cut, high leg ‘look at me’ styles of the dress. It just feels super cringe.”
A second agreed: “It’s beyond the colour though. Super plunging neckline and thigh high slit.
“She’s screaming for the attention to be on her. It’s tacky af.”

But others defended the woman’s dress choice, one wrote: “Sorry if I had a body like that, I’d wear that dress too!”
“At least it’s not white,” another joked.
And someone else said: “Respectfully, while I believe this dress is beautiful and appropriate for the reception, the churches I have attended usually request modest dress.
“The deep cleavage would not be appropriate – in church. Totally fine for a party though.”
