I’m A Celeb fans blast show for making ‘big mistake’ with campmate
FANS of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here fans have blasted the show for making a “big mistake” with one of the campmates.
Viewers took to Twitter to complain after Wednesday night’s episodes – as Matt Hancock took part in his first Bushtucker trial.
MP Matt, 44, entered the Australian jungle alongside ten other celebs earlier this week – but not everyone was happy to see him.
Many viewers flooded social media to complain about the former Health Secretary taking part in the much-loved ITV competition.
They blasted I’m A Celeb producers for making “a big mistake” by signing Matt to the show, as they slammed him for “spoiling it”.
Some fans hit out that the “pain and trauma” of seeing Matt on screen had been so bad that they have had to switch off.

“Can we please not make I’m A Celeb all about Matt Hancock,” one hit out. “Every news segment is talking about him, every show mentions him, it isn’t about him, it’s spoiling it already.
“Big mistake by the producers,” they added in the scathing tweet.
A second said: “I think ITV are going to discover pretty quickly that they’ve made a big mistake… HUGE!
“The pain of loss & memories of all the trauma are still too real. Many haven’t even had a chance to begin to heal. This joke is bad taste.”

A third added: “Hancock become bigger than the show all of a sudden. Mistake. Don’t watch.”
While a fourth said: “2 minutes into Matt Hancock arriving and I’ve had to switch it off. The idea of him parading himself around on a reality show while reminding people of dead loved ones is abhorrent.
“I thought the Celeb team were better.”
Meanwhile, others defended Matt being on the show, with one writing: “He might not be everyone’s favourite person. BUT, let’s be careful not to try and bully and humiliate him.”
It comes after a TV star slammed Matt and said he should quit I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here and donate his fee.
The former Health Secretary was seen for the first time on the ITV show earlier this week, before tackling his first Bushtucker trial in the Australian jungle last night.
He has banked in a mammoth £400,000 for signing up to the show – much to the fury of a number of his constituents.
Now, he has been called by one TV star to QUIT the programme, and donate his mammoth pay cheque to the NHS.
Charles Hanson, who is known for appearing on Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip – took to Twitter to slam the politician.

Charles wrote: “Personally I think Matt Hancock should resign from I’m A Celebrity, and give the £400k to the NHS.
“ITV and Ant and Dec have misjudged our pandemic hangover mood and what we have all suffered (many with lost loved ones).
“Mr Hancock should be back at work and held to account.”
