Aldi website down as shoppers rush to buy Kevin the Carrot Christmas toys and queue from 4am outside shops
THE Aldi website is down as thousands of shoppers rush to buy Kevin the Carrot toys.
People are currently trying to get onto the Aldi website to grab the popular toys but have been put in a queue.
The toys were released this morning as part of the discount supermarket’s Christmas campaign featuring the character.
People have also been up since the early hours of the morning queuing outside their local stores.
One Facebook user who was up at 4am wrote: “Its Aldi kevin the carrot release date.
“Is anyone else sad enough to be in the queue…. or is that just me?”
Another said: “New low for me this morning.
“I’m currently queueing outside Aldi for Kevin the carrot…”
One woman also posted: “I think John’s gone crazy he’s getting up at 5.30 in morning to go que up at Aldi for Kevin the Carrot family for the kids all because the kids love home alone.”
Kevin the Carrot has been featured in Aldi’s Christmas campaign for several years now and this year is no different.
The toys are always popular with people getting up early just for the chance to get their hands on them.
