“What is needed to make one gonk.
“Pour rice into [a] big white sock using a glass. The more rice you use, the bigger the gonk.
“Tie the white sock by using a loom band and cut some off – keep the cut off to use. Pull [the] sock over the top.
“Now to make the nose, pinch rice into a ball. Add loom bands around the nose to secure.

“Fold the cut off of the sock into the fluffy sock using for the hat and push down to the bottom. Tie [a] loom band around the sock to make a pom.
“Place the sock onto the top for the hat. Cut off some of the sock if the hat is too long.
“Use wool for the beard. Cut off a longer piece and cut down the middle, then again to have four pieces.
“You need three pieces for this section to plait.
“Tie a knot at the top. To make it easier, sellotape to somewhere.
“Start to plait. Keeping going all the way down. When finished, tie [a] knot in [the] bottom.
“Pull off and place down on [the] carpet. Now you need four pieces of wool and I will show you what to do.
“Make a loop and do a slip knot around the plait. Make sure to pull it tight, then fill up the rest but leave some bits at the edge.
“Leave about this much space to tie it onto the nose. When filled up, place around [the] nose and tie. Tuck the remaining tie edges under the hat.
“You could leave it like this but I trim [it] into a triangle shape.
“Now make as many as you like. Enjoy!”
