A Place in the Sun viewers stunned by house hunters’ mind-boggling tactic to pick property to buy
VIEWERS of A Place in the Sun were left baffled as the house hunters played an unsuspecting game to help them choose which property to buy.
Craig Rowe was on hand to guide the couple around a number of properties on the Channel 4 show.
They had a budget of £200,000 on the show to find their dream home on the Costa del Sol.
Host Craig had his work cut out in order to find the pair exactly what they wanted but by the time it came down to the final decision, he was delighted that there were still two charming properties in the running.
As they gathered for a chat, Mark and Loretta admitted that they had yet to make up their mind between the final two choices.
In a shock move, they announced they were going to play a game of rock, paper, scissors in order to decide the final outcome.

Loretta revelaed: “Its been hard, we’ve been back and forth, we’ve written lists and we’ve spoken to friends and I think the only thing we can do Craig is rock, paper, scissors.”
A bamboozled Craig asked: “So let me get this right, your new life in Spain now rests on rock, paper, scissors?”
As Loretta laughed and told him that was ‘correct’, Craig was left taken aback as he admitted: “This is a first for me.”
After playing a round of the game, it confirmed to them that they would be purchasing a rooftop apartment they had viewed near the start of the programme.

One said: “That’s a first… rock, paper, scissors to decide…”
Another said: “That’s not how rock paper scissors works #APlaceInTheSun.”
Whilst another added an unimpressed emoji alongside: “Rock, paper, scissors.”
The pair managed to put in a successful offer on the property to secure their dream sun-soaked getaway.
