I bought my kids enough presents to cover the whole living room floor – trolls say I spent too much but I don’t care
A MUM shared that she bought hundreds of presents for her children this year despite criticism from trolls.
The TikTok mum, who posts with the handle @tee_el_cee, showed the mountain of gifts in a recent video.

She scanned around the stacks of wrapped boxes, pram, kiddie’s football table and toy x-ray machine.
As she displayed the mammoth gift stash, she commented with the challenges she gets from others about her present giving.
These included: “Why spend so much on your kids at Christmas?
“That’s ridiculous, they won’t even need all those presents.”
She then explained the answer to those comments: “Answer: I want to give my children the Christmas that I didn’t think I deserved as a child.”
She then showed her two little children coming into the room to see all the presents ready for Christmas Day.

The pair ran in with matching pyjamas and screamed while holding their hands over their mouths as they observed what was waiting for them.
She commented: “And to witness these moments, for me, are priceless.”
Others were quick to comment on the video that now has just under 70k views.
One person said: “It’s all about love and family, not all about how many presents you give them. I’m sure they’d be just as happy with less.”
Another said: “I don’t even have room for that many more kids gifts in my house.”
A third said: “I bet they won’t play with half of them, less is more.”
But most people were far more positive.
One said: “I do this too because I had nothing as a child and I never want my kids to experience the feeling. I buy stuff all year o be able to afford it!”
