Amanda Holden makes surprising career change and it’s miles away from Britain’s Got Talent
AMANDA Holden is turning sexpert to present a saucy documentary on the history of hanky-panky.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge will look at Cleopatra’s love of orgies and how Marilyn Monroe redefined raunchiness on cinema screens.

Other topics will include sex within religion and the rise of porn.
The factual work for Sky History marks a change in direction for Amanda, 51.
And a TV source hinted viewers could be in for a shock — by suggesting sex was often more daring in previous periods of history.
The insider said: “The documentary is packed with facts, information and educational moments but of course Amanda brings her own style to it.
She got hands on for filming, including dressing up as some of the sex icons like Marilyn and bringing to life key moments with re-enactments.
“We’re calling it Horrible Histories but for grown-ups.
“This generation thinks it’s at the forefront of sexual exploration but we really know nothing compared to the Romans or even the Regency period.
“Amanda is really passionate about the project.”
Amanda teased the project at the National TV Awards in October.
She said: “I’ve just started filming a brand new series for Sky, which is going to be a lot of fun and it may be slightly controversial!”
She has also shared photos from behind the scenes, which show her dressed as Cleopatra and Marilyn.
The programme will come to Sky History next year.
