Ice scrapers are out again to save morning commutes this winter.
If you want to save a little time on scraping then listen up, because this is the easy way.
Charlotte Brown shared a video on TikTok showing a much easier way to clear ice off your windscreen.
She said: “ Please tap me if you knew this hack.”
She continues: “So you know that side with the bits on.”
Charlotte shows the side of the ice scraper with dents.
She scraped this over her windscreen.
Then she goes over it again with the other side and the ice comes off really quickly.
She said: “Look how much quicker that is.”
“Charlotte said: “I must be like dumb because literally I never knew that’s what that side was for.”
She said: “I thought it was just decoration. It comes off within seconds.”
Charlotte said she had previously spent ages trying to scrape ice off her car using her old method.
Charlotte said: “And there’s me sat there for hours trying to defrost the car at times.”
Charlotte’s video now has over 96,000 views.
Many viewers were very surprised with the hack.
One commenter said: “I just learned this too. It works”
Another commenter said: “I never knew either. Learning more off TikTok than I did at school Lool xx.”
Many commenters suggested Charlotte use another method which has also been trending online.
For this method you fill a plastic bag with warm water and rub it all over your windscreen and it will quickly melt the ice.
