However, Naga was nowhere to be seen this morning when the show came on air.
Instead, she was replaced with Nina who stepped in alongside Charlie.
This comes after Nina vowed to be back on TV following a short illness over Christmas.
The 42-year-old took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to confirm that she’ll be back on air as she thanked her followers for their support online.
She penned: “Thank you for your very kind wishes. Full recovery complete and ready for BBC Breakfast tomorrow to share my full Christmas nutrition guide with Jon Kay.”
She previously tweeted about her illness saying: “Good morning from my kitchen where I’m recovering from a vomiting illness over Christmas and feel I owe it to myself to have this for breakfast.”
Nina also posted photos of a chocolate orange, tolberone bar and a slush puppy.
Fans were delighted the morning presenter was in recovery and treating herself with something sweet.
One fan said: “Whilst the news may have been pants this year, @NinaWarhurst you have brought the positivity to the @BBCBreakfast sofa.”
Another wrote: “Good morning Nina, I’m glad you’re recovering now from your illness.
“Nothing wrong with a nice orange to help you recover, even if it’s of the chocolate variety.”
A third said: “Lovely to see you fit & well back on the Breakfast sofa Nina.”
Newcomer Ben Boulos made his BBC Breakfast debut on Monday morning as he hosted the show solo.
Ben also stepped in to cover a number of different hosts during the festive period.
He took viewers through the latest news as well as a segment on Christmas Day television.
Ben couldn’t hide his excitement and took to social media to share the news as well as a snap from the iconic set.
He posted: “Guessing you’ve figured it out by now!
“Very excited to be presenting #BBCBreakfast @BBCBreakfast for the first time this morning. More coming up at 8am.”
BBC News fans may recognise Ben as he’s a regular presenter for BBC World News.
Viewers have enjoyed his hosting style as one said on social media: “You’re doing well and looking great.”
Another said: “A belated Christmas gift to your viewers, @BenMBoulos . It’s always a delight to see you on telly!”
“Fabulous!!!… a great call for you. As so often, it’s tough news. Always your sensitivity Ben. Thank you,” posted a third.
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer.
