My dad converted the garage into a studio flat so I’d have my own space…and everyone’s saying the same thing

A DIY dad has been inundated with praise online after converting his garage into a stylish studio flat for his daughter.

Toni Worrall, who is 23, took to TikTok to document the process as her savvy dad set to work on the very impressive transformation.

In the clip, she offers her social media followers a quick tour of what the tired-looking garage before – and it really was a case of having to start from scratch.

The walls were completely stripped back, the worn down floor was in desperate need of replacing and electrics and water needed to be installed.

Toni’s dad took on the challenge and it wasn’t long before the garage looked completely unrecognisable.

Delighted Toni, who has now moved into her new humble abode, is then seen revealing her brand new, fully functioning kitchen.

It comes complete with sink, oven, fridge and washing machine – not to mention plenty of storage space.

Next is the bathroom, which features a modern grey tile design, curved shower, basin and toilet.

She then proudly shows off her light and airy bedroom, which has had a lick of white paint, along with some grey wardrobes installed.

Toni’s new studio flat also boasts its very own living room – including a turquoise sofa, wall-mounted TV and even a desk – and an outdoor space so she can unwind.

The thrilled 23-year-old captioned the post: “Forever grateful – from a garage to a gorgeous little home!”

It’s little surprise the video has since gone viral, racking up over 1.6 million views and hundreds of comments – with many branding Toni’s dad the “best dad ever.”
