BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty took a swipe at a new weather presenter after Carol Kirkwood was replaced.
Today’s show saw Naga, 47, and Charlie, 60, discussing the latest news and topics from around the country.
Sports correspondent Mike Bushell was also in the studio to discuss the latest goings on in the world of sport.
He talked about Chris Dobey’s Premier League Darts debut after he beat six-time defending champion Michael van Gerwen in the final in Belfast.
Mike then shared the story about how Chris got started, saying: “Many years ago now he was at bingo with his mum and a mate came in and said, ‘Look, we’re short of a player in our local pub team, can you just come and stand in?’ And there it was.
“It was life-changing. Found out he was good at it. Until you try it you don’t know, do you?”

Charlie and Naga agreed it was an incredible story, before Naga added: “Same thing happened to Matt, you know?”
Mike appeared confused but it soon transpired Naga was talking about Matt Taylor, who was presenting today’s weather instead of Carol, 62.
Naga joked: “One day there was a gap in the weather rota and someone grabbed Matt and said, ‘Do you fancy doing this?’ and he got really really good at it.”
Matt then appeared on screen and took her cheeky swipe in good humour as he joked back: “You don’t know how true you are!”
He made the team laugh as he added: “I still haven’t been found out yet!”
Meanwhile, BBC Breakfast fans also commented on Naga’s ensemble today.
The journalist wore a black double breasted jacket and one viewer joked she looked like an “evil businesswoman”.
