Mrs Hinch fans go crazy over £1.25 buy which gets rid of nasty toilet limescale with no effort

FANS of the cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch are going wild over an inexpensive product that banishes nasty toilet limescale.

Posting anonymously on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips on Facebook, one user sought help: “I’ve moved into a new house and my toilet is covered in limescale.

”I’ve tried various products but they don’t seem to be working, any tips?”

Fortunately for the member – and anyone else struggling with this issue – the post was soon inundated with dozens of comments and recommendations.

However, amongst the numerous suggestions, one product was mentioned more than once – and it wasn’t bleach.

“Use Harpic Power Plus, leave it overnight. It will take a while but it does work,” claimed fellow cleaning enthusiast Arlene Mcintyre.

Clarissa Reynolds agreed, writing: “Harpic Power Plus is by far the best.

”Use it three to four times a day until the limescale is gone.”

The miracle product is widely available in most supermarkets, as well as retailers such as Home Bargains and Wilko.

The description on Wilko’s website reads: “Cleans above and even below the waterline.

”Changes colour as it works, leaving your toilet disinfected and completely clean.”

The cleaning essential is currently on offer for £1.25 at Wilko, but often retails at around £1.75.

And according to the author of the post, the product worked like a charm, as she later revealed: “I’ve scrubbed a bit and it started to melt away.”

Mrs Hinch, 32, has long been a favourite amongst fellow cleaning enthusiasts, with close to 4.6 million followers on Instagram.

The star rose to fame a few years ago with various home hacks and now her fans have even started dedicated cleaning pages on social media.

Black mould build-up in the bathroom is almost impossible to get rid of, but luckily cleaning enthusiasts have revealed a few hacks to tackle this issue – and one trick costs just 95p.

Fed up of the dire state of her sealant and grout, one fan of the cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch took to Facebook to seek help.

“How can you get mould off bath sealant and grout?” wondered Helen Richards.

The post, uploaded on the popular Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips page, received dozens of comments and recommendations from fellow cleaning enthusiasts.

And whilst many advised to stick to natural remedies, others insisted they’d take too long to combat the issue – and thus, Helen would need to purchase a specific mould remover.

There were quite a few suggestions, but one product that kept cropping up in the comments was the Astonish Mould and Mildew Blaster.

Sharing a snap of the spray, Claire Bateman wrote: “This stuff. It’s amazing.

”Spray on, leave overnight, rinse the next morning – I actually couldn’t believe it.”

Noreen Timmis recommended: “Astonish Mould and Mildew Blaster, just spray all over and it just vanishes within a couple of hours, no need to scrub anything.”

“Astonish mould spray is bloody amazing. It works on both of these areas,” wrote Tina Collum.

The miracle product retails for 95p at Wilko, but if there’s not one nearby, you can also purchase it at local supermarkets, for example, such as Asda and Morrisons for £1.25.
