Sam Faiers admits she hasn’t slept in a bed with boyfriend Paul for SEVEN years
SAM Faiers has revealed that she and boyfriend Paul haven’t shared a bed alone in seven years.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 32, said that her son Paul, seven, and daughter Rosie, five, sleep in the same room as their father.
But she and their nine-month old son Edward sleep in a separate room.
“Me and Paul haven’t shared a bed for six years. We’re still in separate rooms,” she on the Parenting Hell podcast.
“I’m in the spare room with Edward, who I’ve recently got into the cot, but he’s still in the room with just me.”
Sam explained that she’s been sharing her bed with her children ever since they were born.
“Before [youngest child] Edward came along it was just like two and two – like one adult and one child,” she continued.
“And we’ve never kind of gotten out of it.”
When asked how the couple had managed to have two more children with very little alone time, Sam joked: ‘You have to be inventive I guess.
“It kind of works, but it is getting a bit much now.”
But Sam admitted that sleeping apart from Paul isn’t as bad as it sounds.
She revealed that he’s a “night owl” and usually sleeps with the TV on, with the football highlights on in the background, while she prefers to get an early night.
Last year, Sam previously revealed her sleeping arrangements on The Billie & Sam podcast.
She said: “Our sleeping arrangement is Paul, with Paul and Rosie in the big bed, and then I’m in their room with Edward.
“It’s fine – it’s not too bad. I go in the morning to get everyone up for school and big Paul is like hanging off the end of the bed.
“The bed is emperor – it’s the biggest size you can get – and Paul is still having off the end, but we’re all so used to it now.
“I have said to Paul, ‘Can you just imagine if it was me and you in the bed together?’ and it would just be so weird.
“Since having little Paul, he’s going to be seven – never. In the last seven years, unless it’s been a random night away just us two, we’ve never been on our own in the bed.”
The mother-of-three insisted she was “OK” with the arrangement because they have different sleep preferences.
