Love Island fans are furious as ‘player’ boys survive and the girls are forced to dump two lads from villa
LOVE Island viewers are furious Ron Hall and Tom Clare survived tonight’s dumping as the girls are tasked with sending two boys home.
Fans of the show voted for the boys they wanted to keep in the villa ahead of the dumping, and it left Spencer Wilkes, Aaron Waters and Kai Fagan at risk of elimination.
Viewers feel Ron was lucky to make it through[/caption]Maya Jama arrived in style and let the Islanders know the power was in the girls’ hands, and two of the three boys would be going home.
Fans are convinced the eliminated duo are Spencer and Aaron Waters and questioned how Tom and Ron got enough votes to stay on after coming under fire for their womanising antics in the villa.
Footballer Tom was at the heart of a Love Triangle that saw him snog Ellie Spence behind Olivia Hawkins’ back, while Ron has seemingly been stringing the people’s sweetheart Lana Jenkins along after having his head turned by every bombshell.
It was believed that just one of the islanders would be leaving – but in a shock twist two were axed.
Insiders said filming in South Africa went on until the early hours as the dumping played out.
A source said: “Love Island dumped two contestants from the villa last night.
“It came as a shock to the cast and the scenes will leave fans on the edge of their seats.
“At first it was believed only one islander would be leaving but two went.
“The public vote is always hard as the islanders have no idea how they are being perceived in the outside world.
“It ended up being a long night and filming went on until the early hours.”
Newcomers Casey and Jordan, who arrived as bombshells this week, were exempt from the vote.
News of the dumping came after last night’s steamy kissing challenge.
After the girls locked lips with the boys, each was charged with marking them out of ten.
The action and drama in the villa has seen viewing figures for the ITV2 and ITVX show soar.
Wednesday night’s show peaked at 1.6million viewers, the highest since the show started a fortnight ago.
Fans have loved the drama which has played out in recent days, including the love triangle involving footballer Tom.
Love Island bosses have put in a huge number of bombshells into the villa too – ramping up the action.
