DEAR DEIDRE: LOOKING at my son’s baby scan, I couldn’t wait to become a dad but he’s six months old now and I can’t help but resent him.
I know it’s not his fault, but I feel shut out. I’m 26 and my girlfriend is 27
If I try to soothe him, she appears hovering over me, ready to tell me how to do it better.
We hardly spend any time together as a couple now.
I feel so guilty for admitting it but I’m starting to wish we hadn’t had a baby.
This isn’t what I imagined.
