The Chase fans left watching through their fingers as contestant’s buzzer blunder costs her dearly
THE Chase viewers were kept on the edge of their seats after one contestants’ buzzer error costed her a lot.
The ITV gameshow, hosted by Bradley Walsh, 63, was back on screens with a new group of hopefuls competing for the cash prize.
Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha introduced quizzers Jim, Chantal, Max, and Alice to the show.
But, things got a bit tense, for Chantal when she ran out of time and was eventually caught out.
Despite performing incredibly well in the cash builder, amassing £6,000 while competing against the Chaser – Chantal missed the buzzer on one question.
Host Bradley Walsh asked the player: “Which of these men has led the Conservative Party into General election?

“A. Micheal Gove, B. Michael Heseltine or C. Michael Howard.”
But Chantal, was hesitant to answer and ended up not hitting the button in enough time.
Meanwhile, The Sinnerman had made sure he locked his answer in quickly.
Those watching at home were frustrated as they raged at their screens, hoping Chantal would answer correctly – but it was too late.
Bradley called out: “Out of time!”
Taking to Twitter one viewer fumed: “All you have to do is press a buzzer for god sake!”
Another complained: “I really don’t understand how people take so long to answer a question?”
A third added: “That’s so annoying! Why didn’t she just answer?”
A fourth raged: “It’s just so irritating when they do this! Just press the f*****g buzzer!!”
