I’m a gym girl – men tell me to ‘stop wearing leggings’ that show my glutes, it’s not my fault you’re a disgusting creep
A FITNESS fanatic is sick and tired of having her clothes policed by strangers during workouts – especially men.
She posted a stern message for all the “disgusting” creeps who have chastised her for showing off hard-earned gains.
Fitness vlogger Bláthnaid O’Callaghan (@_blathfit) records her workouts to share on TikTok.
Since O’Callaghan provides her followers with resources including a “glute-growing guide,” she loves to showcase her assets.
But not everyone is a fan of her sculpted physique – in fact, O’Callaghan is criticized for her gym wardrobe.
In a video, she recounted the criticism she hears from unreasonable men on TikTok.
On-camera, O’Callaghan wore a pair of snug leggings, tugged up high on her waist to emphasize her glutes.
“Men in my comments telling me to stop wearing my leggings like this,” she wrote in the caption.
An audio clip in the background featured a voice demanding, “Take it off!”
In response, another voice spoke what O’Callaghan was thinking: “I would rather die.”
O’Callaghan also said men claim “It’s my fault they are disgusting creeps.”
In the video’s description, she made her position perfectly clear.
“I’ll wear what I want, how I want,” she said. “It’s not an invitation or an excuse for you to be disgusting.”
For flavor, she dropped in a kissing emoji and a middle finger emoji.
Commenters were quick to jump to her defense.
“You’re wearing them normally,” one woman said, confused. “Men are so gross.”
Another reasoned, “Gotta show what you’re building, or else why have a fitness account.”
One man noted a different wardrobe choice O’Callaghan was making in the clip.
“I mean, you tuck your shirt in your bra so it can be seen,” he accused. “But hey, I ain’t mad at yuh!”
“Yeah, it’s all for you, bro,” O’Callaghan replied sarcastically.
Another woman pointed out that O’Callaghan likely did this to create airflow and dry the sweat on her back.
The comment section below the video was devoid of grumpy critics, which one man took as a sign that O’Callaghan was lying.
But she explained there was a reason this particular thread was drama-free.
“I just block every single man who comments something misogynistic so the comments I see are gone,” she revealed.
