I’m mum-shamed for getting undressed in front of my kids – mums who don’t clearly have kids who don’t like them
A MUM has defended herself for getting undressed in front of her kids, insisting that those parents who don’t must have kids who like them.
Chelsea took to TikTok recently to share a funny story about her four-year-old child during a trip to the shops.
“Recently I was shopping at Target with my three kids and my four year old decides now is the best time to announce, very loudly, to everyone, while we are checking out, ‘Hey mommy, mommy, you have BIG NIPPLES’,” she wrote.
Among the comments on the video was one which read: “Why are you undressing in front of your children?”
Responding in another TikTok, Chelsea said: “Because Suze they’re up my a*s.
“My kids never leave me alone. I would never be able to change my clothing.”
Referring to the comment itself, she added: “This just tells me your kids might not have liked you very much.”
And in the comments section on that video, other parents could entirely relate to what Chelsea was saying.
“Wait some moms get to dress alone ???? I’ve never heard of this!!” one wrote.
As another added: “My kid came to sit on the bathroom floor with a bag of chips when I was peeing this morning.
“He’s always there, I’m never alone.”
“My son would hand me tampons. Motherhood ain’t for the faint of heart,” a third wrote.
“My 21 y/o daughter still comes in when I’m getting dressed or using the bathroom…let me know when I’ll get privacy again?!” someone else commented.
“Good lord….I didn’t get to make a number 2 by myself till mine were 5 and then, my animals followed me in there,” another hilariously wrote.
“Say you don’t have kids or take care of them without saying it,” someone else said.
