CORONATION Street fans have been left terrified for Daisy as her stalker hell hit a chilling new low.
Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) has been getting increasingly freaked out by the antics of Justin (Andrew Still), who won’t get take the hint that she’s not interested in him.
In tonight’s episode, she bumped into her stalker who was carrying some flowers.
Assuming they were for her, she grabbed them and stamped on them, and when Justin tried to calm her down, she slapped him across the face.
It prompted the police to turn up at the pub and say there had been an accusation of assault made by Justin, so Daisy was taken to the police station for questioning.
The frustrated barmaid tried to make the cops see that her vicious response was because of the pressure Justin has put her under recently.
Suddenly, another officer arrived to say the complaint had been dropped, and a relieved but perplexed Daisy returned to the pub.
But soon after, Justin arrived and insisted they talked, even with Daisy’s fiance Daniel by her side.
Daisy firmly told him she wasn’t interested and never would be, and a crestfallen Justin left.
Sadly, Daisy’s hopes at finally getting through to him were shortlived, as later on as she walked back from the chip shop, Justin cornered her again.
Dropping her chips in fright, Daisy told him once again to leave her alone.
Justin loomed over her and she said: “Stay away from me”.
Their voices were heard by two people on the street who called over to ask if she was OK, but before he left Justin replied menacingly: “I’m afraid I can’t do that.”
As the credits rolled, Coronation Street fans took to Twitter to share their fears for Daisy.
One wrote: “Daisy’s storyline tonight has given me palpitations, you’ve got it spot on Corrie!
“Women need to be taken more seriously when it comes to stalking and harassment. I actually feel physically sick.”
Another added: “Really wanted Daisy to scream for help or get those two fellas that were asking if she was ok !!
A third tweeted: “Justin turning up in the corner and frightened the crap out of Daisy.”
