I’m mum-shamed by trolls for having a ‘messy’ house and mould – I have 12 kids, it’s never going to be pristine
A SUPERMUM has hit back at trolls who claim her house is messy and dirty – insisting a pristine home is impossible with 14 people under one roof.
Zoe and Ben Sullivan live in a four-bedroom house with their 12 kids in Lossiemouth, Moray.
With so many children under one roof, 44-year-old Zoe admitted it’s impossible to keep it looking like a picture-perfect show home.
But the dedicated mum cleans the military digs every single day and can always be seen in her YouTube videos carrying out chores and tidying.
Despite her best efforts, she revealed she is faced with hateful messages about the state of her home.
Speaking to followers on YouTube, she said: “We’re all about honesty and what life is really like. As much as I’d love to have a pristine house all the time, there’s 14 people living in my house and we haven’t got much space.
“So what others might see as messy clothes is actually individual piles of people’s things that they’re kind of in the process of wearing or have only worn for an hour and are going to wear later.
“A certain nasty person keeps getting a hold our videos and switching things around, saying stuff like ‘the Sullivans’ house is disgusting’.
“The worst thing about it is people who have previously followed you and like your channel start to believe what others have put on.
“That’s where it gets really upsetting. It’s not the original troll if you like, it’s when other people start believing it.”
She added: “We’re all about being honest about our lives. If our house is messy in parts, it’s messy in parts.
“Most people live like that. Even if they’ve got a beautiful home and keep it as tidy as they can, especially if they’ve got children, there’s always a spot they won’t want you to see.
“As much as we’ve outgrown this house and we’ve had a lot of problems with this house like mould and things, it’s still been our home for the last 10 years.
“We’ve brought our family up here, we’ve had the babies here. The five youngest. It will always be our home.”
Zoe has been inundated with messages of support since opening up in her YouTube video.
“Nothing wrong with your house. It’s a family home, your kids are loved and well looked after, and that’s all that counts.”
“Please try not to worry and take no notice of the nasty mouthed people. You are both wonderful parents, doing the best you can with the space you have.”
“Zoe I can’t believe people will say this and that about your home especially when all I see you do is clean and tidy up.
“I only wish I could be as tidy and clean as you are. Please don’t let these nasty people get you down as they are not worth it.”
The Sullivans are one of Scotland’s biggest families, with Elizabeth, 17, Olivia, 16, Noah, 13, Evangeline, 11, Tobias, 10, Agnes, 5, and Joseph, 4, two sets of twins, Charlotte and Isabelle, 15, and Leah and Erin, 7, and eight-months-old baby Florence.
We told earlier how the Sullivans have FOUR children celebrating their birthday on the same date
In odds once described by Ladbrokes as “30 million to one”, both sets of the Sullivan twins share a birthday of January 25.
Supermum Zoe joked: “We like to keep ourselves extra busy and supersize everything.”
