I bought a £1.6k Cavoodle & was told it would look like a model dog – but it grew up to be something different

A WOMAN who splurged £1,600 on a Cavoodle thinking she was getting a dog worthy of being a model has been left shattered after it grew into something else.

TikTok user @totallynotjessica took to social media to show viewers what her prized puppy ended up looking like.

In the video, the woman began searching for Cavoodle puppies online and showed what results came up.

Satisfied with what she saw, the animal lover said she spent £1,600 on a brand new puppy.

She then revealed what her Cavoodle looked like – something terribly different to what was advertised.

Named Lulu, the dog was scruffy and had a strange temperament.

In the clip she said: “What I thought my £1,600 Cavoodle would look like.”

Despite the dog not turning out to be a poster puppy, at least the woman did not pay full price.

Cavoodles can be sold for more than £2,900.

Another woman also posted about her bizarre £4,000 golden poodle puppy, where she believed she was scammed.

Since 2020, pet scams have risen more than 400 per cent as crooks target those desperate for a companion.

A reported 1,428 victims lost £614,226 to fraudsters during three months in 2020.

Another woman was also left stunned when she realised her purebred £1.7k goldendoodle puppy was not what its papers claimed it was.

And a woman bought a £3k purebred French bulldog puppy – which grew up to look shockingly different too.
